Accolade filmfest awards Iranian ‘Henas’

Iranian feature ‘Henas’ has won an award at the Accolade Global Film Competition in the US.

Produced by Soureh Cinema Organization and directed by Hossein Darabi, the film won the honorary diploma of the 2023 edition of the event.

The film is about the life of Martyr Daryoush Rezaeenejad and his assassination.

Merila Zarei, Behrouz Shoeibi, Vahid Rahbani, Solmaz Ghani and Amin Miri star in the film.

Soureh International Institute has the rights for international distribution of the film.

Established in 2003, the Accolade Global Film Competition is an avant-garde worldwide competition that strives to give talented directors, producers, actors, creative teams and new media creators the positive exposure they deserve.

It discovers and honors the achievements of filmmakers who produce high quality shorts and new media. The Accolade promotes award winners through press releases to over 40,000 filmmakers, industry contacts and additional international media/distribution outlets.
